Pres. Bongbong Marcos Speaks on Changes in Public Service in Latest Vlog
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President, in his latest vlog, assured the Filipinos that many more changes will happen in the services provided by the government.
Pres. Marcos previously ordered his Cabinet secretaries to resign from their positions following the results of the May 2025 Elections. The Chief Executive believes that the outcome of the elections show that the Filipinos are tired or politicking and are disappointed by the services of the government.

Marcos Jr.’s courtesy resignation call among his Cabinet secretaries was in line with the pursuit to recalibrate his administration. According to the President, it is time to align the government with the demands of the Filipino people.
Malacañang assured the Filipinos that Marcos Jr. will act swiftly on the courtesy resignations of his Cabinet secretaries. According to Palace press officer Atty. Claire Castro, lazy and corrupt officials have no place in the current administration.

Castro also stressed that the revamp is an opportunity for the Cabinet secretaries to prove their place in the administration. Aside from deciding on his Cabinet secretaries, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also appointed former CIDG chief Nicolas Torre III as the next PNP chief. He challenged Torre to keep the police ranks clean and honorable and improve police visibility.

Recently, in his vlog, Pres. Bongbong Marcos cited the changes that are happening under his administration. He cited the P20 per kilo rice program, the boosting of the police visibility with Torre’s pursuit for a nationwide implementation of his 3-minute police response program, the temporary suspension of the EDSA rehabilitation, and the provision of farm machineries.

In his vlog, the President recognized that many people are still doubtful of the continuity of the P20 per kilo rice program. It was a campaign promise of the Chief Executive.
“Marami pa rin ang nagdududa kung paano masu-sustain o patatagalin itong P20 rice na ito. May stock pa ba tayo na bigas? Kaya ba ito na bayaran ng ating gobyerno? Masu-sustain po natin ‘yan basta’t nagtutulungan ang lahat. Ang sisiguruhin natin ay hindi mawawalan ng abot-kayang bigas ang ating mga kababayan,” he said.
Marcos Jr. also revealed that he recently visited the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. According to him, the government will not only improve the Manila airports but as well as the regional airports so they can accommodate more flights for the convenience of not only the foreigners who visit the country but as well as the Filipinos who come or leave the nation.
“Marami ring ginagawang pagbabago. Bilang gateway ng ating bansa, itong mga airport natin kumbaga ay ang mga first and last experience nila sa ating bansa. Kaya’t hindi sapat na magaganda ang mga tourist spot natin. Kailangan ganun din kaganda ang mga airport natin,” the President said.
In his vlog, Pres. Bongbong Marcos thanked the Filipinos for their suggestions, comments, and sentiments. He vowed that many more changes in the public service are happening.
“Ilan pa lamang ito sa mga pagbabagong nagaganap. Marami pa po ito. Maraming salamat sa inyong mga munkahe, suhestyon, komento. Lagi po kaming nakikinig at patuloy na isusulong ang anumang mga programang makakabuti sa kalagayan ng ating mga kababayan. Mabuhay ang Bagong Pilipinas,” Marcos said.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos also promised the rebirth of the areas in the Pasig River.
