Graduating College Student Allegedly Assault by 3 Men in Bacolod City
A graduating college student in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, remains in the hospital after allegedly being assaulted by three men.
The incident reportedly took place on the night of Saturday, May 31, 2025, in one of the city’s barangays.
According to one of the individuals who found the 25-year-old woman and offered help, the woman was seen sitting on the ground looking weak and disoriented around 11:00 PM. She was immediately assisted and brought to safety.
Based on the victim’s statement, she was allegedly abused by three unidentified men. She could no longer recall where she had been taken, only that she was later left in the downtown area of Bacolod.
The suspects were reportedly wearing face masks. The woman was found wearing only a shirt and shorts, without undergarments. Her bra was tied around one of her legs, and she had visible bruises on her body as well as a bump on her head.
The physical condition in which she was found raised serious concern. She was clearly in need of medical attention and was immediately brought to the hospital, where she continues to receive care.
Authorities attempted to begin filing a formal report, but police officers stated that the victim herself needs to be the one to provide a direct statement and initiate the blotter report regarding the incident.
The incident is currently under investigation, and the safety and well-being of the victim remain the top priority. The online community hopes for justice and for the individuals responsible to be identified and held accountable.
