Charo Santos did not expect to see this encounter in a recent interview
Seasoned actress Charo Santos had this reaction after learning that she was the prank victim of Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz.
Charo and Dingdong finally had their most-awaited project together. It took several years before this became a realization. The movie Only We Know was first pitched to them before the pandemic.
This year, it is finally happening. Charo Santos and Dingdong Dantes have been very busy in promotng their movies. They started doing interviews and promotional events.
One of the guestings they did was on the YouTube channel of Ogie Diaz. The whole vlog interview lasted for 24 minutes. However, for the first eight minutes, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, it was noticeable that Ogie attention was focused on Charo.
The talent manager-vlogger was asking questions to the seasoned actress only. Then, the point came when Dingdong asked Ogie, “Sa akin, wala ka bang itatanong sa akin?”
Still, Ogie’s focus was on Charo as he sait “Sandali lang muna” to Dingdong. At that time the seasoned actress was amusinly smiling.
After that, the Kapuso actor said, “Sige, usap muna kayo. Kuha lang ako ng tubig… Baka siguro i-text mo na lang sa akin yung mga tanong mo.” Dingdong stood and left.
Charo was obviously feeling awkwardness at that moment. A few moments later, Dingdong returned and his facial reaction showed that he was not happy. Then, Ogie said, “Mainit yata ang ulo ni Dingdong. Sorry.”
Then, with a pissed off reaction, Dingdong asked if they are already finished. At that point, Ogie asked Charo, “Anong pakiramdam na pina-prank po namin kayo ni Dingdong?” The seasoned actress said, “Huh?” and a long pause took place.
Then, Charo admitted that it was awkward. “Nakakainis kayo! There’s ths feeling of discomfort kasi parang, talaga, nangyayari ito right before my very eyes,” the seasoned actress said. Then, she asked Dingdong if he was okay because Ogie was not giving attention to him during the interview.
The Kapuso actor said that he is coll with that and that it will no happen that he would be pissed off.
