There had been a silent feud between actresses Aiko Melendez and Candy Pangilinan. It lasted for two years, and finally, the wait is over for reconciliation. In a recent vlog, the two actresses became emotional while they were talking about the past.
In the YouTube channel of Melendez, they recalled the time when their friendship had gone through a rough patch, and both admitted that they could no longer remember exactly how the feud started.
To recall, in 2021, Melendez admitted that there was a conflict and said, “Just to clear the air. Ayokong i-pinpoint ‘yung dahilan ‘coz I want to keep it private at para matapos na rin ‘yung kaka-request nila ng collab naming apat, in my future vlogs, they’ll see more of me with Carmina and Gelli muna.”
According to Pangilinan, she suspected that there was one person who actually caused it. They did not name the person, but what mattered most now is that they are finally able to iron things out between them, and for Melendez, this is due to their maturity.
This person is actually someone who would always put her in a compromised situation, but they chose not to name this person. Thinking alike, Melendez expressed, “Kaya ako naniwala kasi meron siyang sinabi na isang date na walang nakakaalam ‘nun kundi tayong dalawa lang.”
Candy attempted to reach out, but failed to have the answers she needed. She tried, but was not provided with what she needed, and that was when she decided to let things be. She was hurt when Aiko believed other people over her, and Aiko apologized for not facing the problem head-on with her. She is accordingly no longer the confrontational type.
There were also times when she missed Candy, especially her son, Quentin, and she was always relieved to see them in a good situation through their social media posts.
