Gerald Anderson talks about love and relationships in this recent interview
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson broke his silence on his rumored breakup with actress Julia Barretto and the allegations that he cheated on his past relationships.
Gerald and Julia’s relationship became a hot topic on social media just recently because of their rumored breakup. It was because netizens noticed that they hadn’t posted any recent photos of them together.
The online community also talked about the photos that apparently Julia deleted on her Instagram page. However, her handler denied the breakup rumors and said that the celebrity couple is still “intact.”
Just recently, Julia’s social media post garnered another round of breakup speculations. Some netizens asked if this was a hint that she and Gerald were no longer together.
However, in a recent interview on Toni Talks, the YouTube talk show of Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga, Gerald Anderson directly debunked the breakup rumors.
He stressed that there is no truth to the speculation that he and Julia are no longer together. The actor also shared prior to the interview, he drove Julia to the airport because she had to go to Dubai.
“No, we’re okay, kanina hinatid ko siya sa airport,” Gerald said. In the interview, the actor also shared what good changes Julia brought into his life.
The actor was also asked about the allegations that he cheated on his past girlfriends. He stressed that he was loyal to whoever he was in a relationship with at that moment. “Kapag sila, sila talaga, walang iba,” he said.
“So, hindi ka nag-cheat?” Toni asked Gerald, and the actor’s reply was, “No.” He explained that when the people knew that he had broken up with a past girlfriend, there had to be a reason.
On the other hand, the actor admitted that it is almost impossible not to fall in love with an onscreen partner. “Especially at a young age and everything binabato na lang sa’yo lahat,” the actor shared.
