In a letter, Taylor Swift makes a happy announcement.

Taylor Swift finally owns the masters of her own works! The pop sensation made a major announcement just recently.

“All of the music I’ve ever made… now belongs… to me.”

After years of music battles, superstar Taylor Swift made a big announcement to her fans in a letter. She has finally reclaimed ownership of the masters of her songs – all of them. She purchased them from Shamrock Capital, six years after Scooter Braun first acquired her catalog from Scott Borchetta.

Taylor’s songs have shaped a generation. Her stories have molded people in love, life, and career. In an open letter published on her website, she celebrated the fact that she now owns all of the art she created.

“I really get to say these words: All of the music I’ve ever made… now belongs to me. All of my music videos. All the concert films. The album art and photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic. The madness. Every single era. My entire life’s work,” she wrote in her letter.

According to a report from Billboard, she paid a hefty amount, involving $360 million for her entire catalog. Billboard reported that the amount was close to the amount Shamrock paid when it bought it.
