Self-love and self-appreciation come in many forms, and one of them is giving yourself a present. This shows that you know what you really want, affirming your worth, being independent, and doing it because you deserve the good things coming from your hard work.
Recently, for his birthday, actor-singer Sam Milby bought himself an electric car from a brand that represents more than just electric cars. For many, Tesla is a symbol of innovation, sustainability, and high-tech luxury.
In the Philippines, Vice Ganda is known to have a Tesla Cybertruck, which reportedly costs $81,895 to $101,985 or Php 4,638,737.54 to Php 5,776,685.36. Now, adding to the list of a few celebrities who own one is Sam.
Last May 23, he turned 41 years old, and to mark this milestone, he received a Tesla Model Y from himself. According to a post from his management, Cornerstone Entertainment, he’s been loving the car after driving it for a week already.
“This is kind of my birthday gift to myself, I guess. After driving this for a week now, I’m super happy with it. Long range–– ambilis sobra,” he shared.
According to him, he doesn’t have to worry about maintenance, and he’s just happy with how smooth, fast, and quiet it has been when he was using it. One of the perks, as well, is that he doesn’t have to follow the coding scheme, as electric cars are still not included.
Moreover, there are various charging stations across the country in case the electric car needs a charge.
“Everything is on the screen there’s no other physical controls. Medyo naninibago lang [ako] sa aspect na yun. Price wise, it’s not bad at all,” he added based on the post.
