A content creator shared her experience with a young child who asked for water at a popular fast-food chain.

Recently, the content creator known as “Diary ni Mama” on Facebook shared her experience with a young boy who asked for a drink of water. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and garnered various reactions online.

While dining at a Mang Inasal branch in San Fernando, Pampanga, the content creator noticed a barefoot boy approaching the counter. He wasn’t there to order food, he was just politely asking for water.

The man behind the counter didn’t hesitate. He asked if the boy had a container, and when the child showed his small tumbler, the man offered to fill it up himself. The staff was busy at the time, so instead of making the boy wait, the man took the initiative and got the water for him.

After filling the tumbler, he returned it with a smile, treating the boy with the same kindness and respect he would offer any other customer. The moment was short, but it left a lasting impression on those who witnessed it.

“Kumain kami sa inasal, may nka sabay akong bata na walang tsenelas at umihingi ng tubig jan sa lalaking nasa picture.

Lalaki: (tinanong ang bata) : anong sa inyo sir?

Bata: pahingi pong tubig

Lalake: jan po natin lagay ang tubig? Sa tumbler mo sir? Nka smile.

Bata: Opo

Lalaki: ahhh cge sir akin na nag tumbler mo.

Kinuha ang tumbler at inabot sa isang staff. Pero dahil madaming ginagawa ang staff di nya agad nalagyan ng tubig.

Bumalik ang lalaki at napansin niyang nandun pa ang bata kaya siya na ang naglagay ng tubig.

Lalaki: sir ito na po ang tubig ninyo
