Ellen Adarna shared her thoughts about some of the politicians she encountered
Cebuana celebrity Ellen Adarna, in her recent Instagram Story, slammed politicians who act like they are royalty.
Ellen has been away from the showbiz limelight for quite a while now. However, she is still active on social media. She loves to share glimpses of her family with her husband actor Derek Ramsay, her son Elias and their daughter Lili.
Some of her posts would go viral sometimes because she is known for being straightforward and honest with what she thinks and feels. There are times when she would share about lifestyle and health, just like her recent post about her weight loss journey.
In one of her recent posts, she talked about what sees among some politicians. She said that she is speaking from experience but she is not generalizing.
Ellen Adarna stressed that the people are the ones paying for the public servants’ salaries, offices, and benefits. “We’re basically feeding them three meals a day,” she said, adding that this includes snacks and coffee breaks.
However, what Ellen did not like was how politicians would deal with other people. She said that it is like people should tiptoe around politicians, smile nice, and act like people owe them.
“Like they’re royalty in a country that’s already a mess,” she said. Ellen stressed that this should be the other way around because public servants should work for the people.
Then, the Cebuana celebrity encouraged the people not to be treated that they are below the politicians. If this happened, Ellen said that it goes to show that these politicians are just maintaining their power and not actually serving the people.
She also encouraged people to remind politicians who are the real boss. “Kinsa diay imong bossing?” (Who is your boss?) Answer: the madlang people!” Ellen Adarna said.
