Message of Pres. Bongbong Marcos on Recent Road Accidents that Took Lives
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President issued a statement on the NAIA Terminal 1 accident and the recent SCTEX Toll Plaza road crash.
Countless people were left saddened by the recent road accidents that took lives. Ten lives were lost in a devastating road crash in Tarlac. It was followed by another accident at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 that left families grieving over the loss of a 28-year-old male and a 5-year-old female child.

Both accidents have taken lives and left many other people involved injured. The mother of the 5-year-old child who died from the accident had to go an operation and she has yet to know about what happened to her little girl.
The Masongsong family was only supposedly set to drop off their patriarch who is an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) at the airport. He was left devastated by what happened and decided to not push through with his flight.

The SUV driver of the NAIA Terminal 1 accident is set to face multiple charges over what happened. The father of Malia, the child who died from the accident, called on the government to help him find justice over his daughter’s death.

Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos released a statement on the NAIA Terminal 1 accident and the SCTEX Toll Plaza road crash. Through a video message posted on Facebook, the Chief Executive expressed his heartfelt condolences to all the families who lost their loved ones in the recent road accidents.
Marcos Jr. stressed that “these incidents should never have happened” and vowed that it will never happen again. According to the President, he has instructed Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon to hold accountable those who are responsible over the incident and implement reforms to prevent it from happening again.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos cited the changes that will be implemented saying that the Philippine government owe it to the victims and their families to act with resolve. The SUV driver who accidentally rammed people at NAIA Terminal 1 claimed that he panicked. The wake of the two fatalities are now held at their respective hometowns and their grieving families call for justice.
