Kyline Alcantara and Barbie Forteza are featured in this new series
Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara expressed excitement about working with Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza in the upcoming series Beauty Empire.
Kyline has done several projects under the Kapuso network. Even though she went through a recent controversy regarding her breakup with basketball player Kobe Paras, Kyline continues to prosper in her career.
Just recently, she celebrated because she reached 4.9 million followers on Instagram. Kyline also has a new acting project. She will share the same screen with her fellow Sparkle artist.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Kyline Alcantara shared that Beauty Empire is set to be shot in South Korea,
She and Barbie already made plans for this trip sometime in May. They are excited to have their Samgyupsal (grilled Korean barbecue) experience.
“Napakasaya ng taping namin sa ‘Beauty Empire’ dahil lahat kami nagiging close na. Well, kami naman kasi ni Barbie close na po talaga kami ever since, at lagi kong sinasabi sa kanya na pangarap ko siyang maka-trabaho and, finally, so gagalingan ko talaga ito,” Kyline shared.
She also said that she really loves Barbie so much. Kyline appreciates the love and support that she has been receiving from her fellow Kapuso actress.
Their friendship deepened when they started working for Beauty Empire which also features Sid Lucero, Chai Fonacier, Sam Concepcion, and Korean star Choi Bo-min.
The star-studded cast also includes the Philippines’ first Miss Universe Gloria Diaz and Miss World 1993 2nd runner-up Ruffa Gutierrez.
Meanwhile, Kyline Alcantara chose not to speak about her recent issue with Kobe Paras. She stressed in a magazine interview that she prefers to be quiet amid a controversy. Instead of releasing a statement explaining her side of the story, her management Sparkle GMA Artist Center released a statement on her behalf saying that she wants to move on from the issue and she hopes the public will do that also.
