A rumor surfaced about the breakup issue between Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes
An alleged reason for the breakup between actor Marco Gumabao and actress Cristine Reyes surfaced online.
Marco and Cristine’s relationship and breakup issues are among the trending topics these past few days. The rumored breakup started circulating when netizens noticed that they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
However, eventually, Cristine followed back Marco, and a day after the actor did the same. With this, speculations surfaced that they reconciled and got back together.
In a recent episode of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s YouTube showbiz talk show Showbiz Update, he and his co-host Mama Loi talked about the breakup issue between Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes.
Ogie said that based on his source, Marco and Cristine broke up and that even though they followed each other again on the photo-sharing social media platform, there was no getting back again that happened.
“Hindi pa yata. Meron akong nakausap very very close sa kanilang dalawa, hindi naman totoong nagkabalikan,” Ogie shared.
Then, Ogie mentioned that this was a mutual decision that Marco and Cristine made. He also said that there had been fake news circulating online regarding this, mostly negative things about Marco, and one of these was an allegation against the actor, who is running for congressman of the 4th district of Camarines Sur.
Allegations surfaced that the breakup was prompted by money matters. Ogie showed a video clip from a Facebook page saying that allegedly Cristine broke up with Marco because the latter was just depending on her financially.
When Mama Loi asked what was the reason for the breakup, Ogie Diaz did not give an answer. He just that someone close to Marco said that the actor is handling his finances very well because he has been independent since a young age.
Prior to this, a rumor surfaced that Cristine caught Marco with a woman and that it happened twice.
