Police Arrest Construction Worker Over Frustrated Murder in Pasig
The authorities arrested a construction worker who was wanted for a frustrated murder case in Pasig City.
A 22-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City after hiding for three years.
He was one of three suspects involved in an attempted murder case that happened in Cainta, Rizal back in 2022.

According to the police, the incident began as a normal drinking session among friends along the roadside in Barangay San Andres. However, things turned violent after some teasing and arguments broke out among the drunk individuals. The situation escalated quickly, and someone was stabbed during the fight.
One of the suspects was caught the day after the incident and has been under the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). The man arrested recently was the second suspect.
He had been hiding for three years, first in Bulacan for two years, then in Rizal for another year. He was arrested on April 27, 2025, through an arrest warrant issued by the Antipolo Regional Trial Court in November 2022.

He worked as a construction worker while in hiding and claimed he was only caught in the middle of the incident and wasn’t part of the drinking group. He admitted to running away because he panicked and didn’t know what to do.
Police confirmed he is the fourth most wanted person in Cainta. He is now in the custody of the Cainta Police and is facing charges of frustrated murder. His bail was set at P200,000.
