In a post, Dennis Padilla defends his brother Gene Padilla.
Amid the ongoing issues involving the Barretto family, Dennis Padilla asked the people online to spare his brother from bashing.
Among those who attended the wedding of Claudia Barretto to Basti Lorenzo was her father, Dennis Padilla. The comedian came with his mother, who was invited, and his brother, Gene Padilla.

However, according to Marjorie Barretto, Gene was not invited. She said, “Gene, ano bang nira-rant mo? First things first, no offense, you were not invited to the wedding. Si Mama lang at si Dennis.”
Following the revelation that he was not invited, Gene shared an intriguing post, and based on a previous article, he wrote, “It’s okay if you say hurtful things. You don’t know me, and I don’t know you — but I still choose to send you love, peace, and prayers for healing.”
The post did not directly point at anyone, but people online speculated that it could be associated with the current issue going on between them. In the comments section, Dennis reacted, and as a brother, he defended him.
According to Dennis, his brother was not at fault because what he did was just supporting him, and he greatly appreciated it. He even added that a plea to the bashers to spare Gene and to put all the negative comments on him.

To recall, in a tell-all interview, Marjorie belied Dennis’ claim of visitor treatment by showing photos from the wedding, and she has yet to respond to Marjorie’s statement. Their three children, on the other hand—Julia, Claudia, and Leon, have yet to speak up on the matter as of this writing.
Earlier, he aired his frustration after he expressed that he was treated only as a “visitor of the bride” instead of being the “father of the bride” in a now-deleted post.
