In one of the Instagram posts of Julia Barretto, her father, Dennis Padilla, left this intriguing comment amid their recent issues.
Claudia Barretto and her longtime non-showbiz boyfriend, Basti Lorenzo, have exchanged “I dos” in an intimate ceremony. This was attended by their closest friends and family, which included Dennis Padilla.
However, in a previous article, Padilla aired his sentiments after feeling hurt. During the wedding of Claudia and Basti, he was accordingly treated like a guest instead of being the bride’s father. He was not given any participation or role in the event.
Padilla’s intriguing post reflected, “GRABE KAYO!! NABUDOL NYO AKO! FATHER OF THE BRIDE NAGING VISITOR. GALING NYO!”
The post, which was taken down shortly after it earned attention online, ignited issues. What added more fuel to the issue was the comment of Padilla in one of the posts of Julia Barretto on Instagram.
The comment was short but spoke volumes about his emotions and feelings. It said, “Kapal nyo.”

Meanwhile, Claudia, as a bride, was stunning wearing a ghost-white off-shoulder gown, while Basti looked dapper in a cream-white Barong Tagalog. The entourage featured shades of white and green, which complemented the theme of the venue, including the designs and decorations.
Claudia is Dennis’ second daughter with former partner Marjorie Barretto. She was born on July 26, 1999, and has two older sisters — Dani and Julia — and two younger siblings — Leon and Erich. In 2017, Claudia released her first single, ‘Stay,’ and apart from being a singer, she is also a bachelor’s degree holder.
She earned her degree of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2022.
