Boy Tapang Says There’s No Abuse, Just a Heated Argument Over Vape’
BOY TAPANG – Cebu-based content creator and vlogger Boy Tapang denies allegations of abusing his partner, explaining that the disagreement was simply a heated argument over a vape.
Boy Tapang, whose real name is Ronie Suan, has addressed the allegations of abuse to his live-in partner, Cristina Morales. The claims surfaced after an incident that reportedly involved an argument between the couple, which led to a police report.
In an interview with MyTV Cebu, Boy Tapang explained that the situation was simply a normal disagreement between partners. “Away mag-partner lang which is normal lang talaga sa mag-partner. Napuno lang talaga sa galit ‘yung partner ko. Nang dahil sa galit niya, nag-report sa pulis,” he shared.

Boy Tapang emphasized that the disagreement was not out of the ordinary for couples, and that his partner’s anger led her to take the matter further by involving authorities.
The cause of the argument, according to the vlogger, stemmed from his decision to prohibit his pregnant partner from using a vape. This led to a tense exchange, during which Boy Tapang admitted to breaking his partner’s vape in a moment of frustration. Following the incident, things escalated further, with Boy Tapang’s partner reportedly damaging their household belongings.
Despite the heated argument, the content creator firmly denied physically harming his partner. He acknowledged, however, that they exchanged harsh words, which intensified when his partner allegedly responded to his mother in an inappropriate manner.

According to the report, the vlogger was temporarily detained but was released after posting bail. He also expressed that he and Cristina Morales have since reconciled, noting that the argument was fueled by their emotions at the time.
However, despite their reconciliation, the legal case filed against the vlogger under Republic Act 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act, is still ongoing. The case has brought attention to the importance of handling relationship disputes with care, especially when emotions run high.
