Are celebrity couple Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales already engaged? This is what the celebrity actress said about this rumor.
During the wake of “Asia’s Queen of Songs,” Pilita Corales, actor Jericho Rosales called himself “Janine’s boyfriend.” This claim ultimately confirmed their relationship that had been circulating for months prior to that time.
“If you want a definition of a family, this is the family. And I’ve been so honored to just, you know, I’ve been spending time with them because I’m Janine’s boyfriend…” he said.
Recently, following the confirmation of their relationship, engagement rumors surfaced.
When and how did the rumors start? Spotted in Boracay on April 9, 2025, are sailboats with “Janine Said Yes!” on them. But really, it was just for a brand she was endorsing as the ambassador.
It was a campaign about her saying “yes” to health. She said as she dismissed the engagement rumors, “But I really love that campaign na it’s a reminder na before you say yes to anything else, say yes to health.”
As the face of a healthcare brand, she reminded people to really take care of their health, in order to be able to live their lives to the fullest. She shared that she is really “health-conscious” for her and her family, and became more health-conscious, especially after the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the actress is still coping with grief after losing three family members. They passed on one after the other, and she admitted she is still recovering from that grief.
Her Mamita, Pilita Corrales, died last April 12. Four days after, Gutierrez’s maternal grandmother, Nora Aunor, died on April 16, at the age of 71. Two weeks after that, her uncle, Ricky Davao, died due to cancer on May 2.
