According to police reports from the Waterfront Police Station (Cebu City Police Station 3), the woman, identified as Maria Sophia Ora Rabaya, was caught trying to take lipsticks worth approximately P1,300 without paying.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. when store security noticed her suspicious behavior. A security guard spotted Rabaya walking out of the store with unpaid items. When confronted, she was found carrying a pair of shorts along with the stolen cosmetics.

The store’s management immediately took action, detaining her before handing her over to the police for further investigation.
Authorities confirmed that Rabaya is now in custody and could face legal consequences for theft. Investigators are also looking into whether she has been involved in similar incidents in the past.
