HOLIDAYS APRIL 2025 – Philippine President Bongbong Marcos declared five (5) holidays in the entire month of April.

The Philippine calendar is undeniably filled with several holidays every year. These holidays usually include regular holidays, special non-working days, as well as one or two special working days. Many people usually check the list of holidays prior to the start of a new year.

A holiday means differently among many people. To some people, these are opportunities to join the celebration of a particular event, have time for family and friends, or get an extended rest. To other people, the holidays are the opportunities to earn extra income as there are extra pay for workers who report to work on a holiday based on the holiday pay rules in the Philippines.

For the next month which is a few days from now, there are five (5) holidays this April 2025. President Bongbong Marcos declared April 1 (Tuesday) a regular holiday across the nation in observance of the Muslim celebration of Eid’l-Fitr. It marks the end of Ramadan.

April 9 is also one of the holidays this April 2025 after Marcos Jr. approved it through the Proclamation No. 727. It is a regular holiday in celebration of the “Day of Valor” or Araw ng Kagitingan. April 17 and 18 are also regular holidays for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday while April 19 is a special non-working day for the Black Saturday.
