Herlene Budol defended Ashley Ortega
Binibining Marikit lead actress Herlene Budol shared fiery words in a social media comment to show support for Pinoy Big Brother housemate Ashley Ortega.
Ashley was one of the Kapuso stars who was chosen to be part of PBB Celebrity Collab Edition which features stars from ABS-CBN and GMA. Almost two weeks after the new season of the reality show was officially launched, intense moments already happened inside the PBB house.
There was a moment when Ashley was so emotional during “confession” with “Kuya.” She said that she did not know why she felt so sad. She missed her home and her dog. Ashley also admitted that she felt overwhelmed inside the house.
Based on the article in PEP, Ashley Ortega shared that her emotions intensified when her boyfriend, Mavy Legaspi, who is also one of PBB’s hosts, left the house after a few days of stay. This was followed by the fact that actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi, who became Ashley’s partner in their weekly task, had to leave because she was just a houseguest.
Ashley’s emotional moment apparently, came also after her housemates AC Bonifacio and Kira Balinger expressed that they thought the Kapuso actress was not being real inside the PBB house.
Previously, AC apologized to Ashley regarding her remark after they became a duo for the next task. Because of this and some other reasons, AC became a trending topic on social media.
After Ashley’s emotional moment inside the confession room, she was defended by her fellow Kapuso actress.
Herlene Budol, although she has not worked with Ashley yet, expressed pity upon seeing her fellow Kapuso stars getting emotional inside the PBB house. “Parang naawa ako kay Ashley. Kuya, ipasok mo ako, talakan ko lang mga namamlastik kay Ashley sa loob,” the actress-beauty queen said.
In a Facebook video that Herlene shared, which is no longer available as of this writing, she answered some questions from netizens if she would be the Kapuso star who will enter the PBB house.
Herlene Budol said that she’s afraid secrets will be out if she enters the reality show. She also said that she would definitely react after knowing that other housemates backstabbed her. “Wala ng intro-intro, wrestling na lang agad. Pero siyempre, eme lang,” she quipped.
Herlene also said that she would surely reprimand other housemates who are not doing the chores such as cooking rice.
