PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (March 22, 2025)
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that three weather systems will bring rainy weather over parts of the country.
On Saturday (March 22, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Three weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that the shear line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Visayas, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.

“Patuloy pa rin po ang epekto ng may kalakasang northeast monsoon sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon,” Estareja said.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan.
“Magdadala ito ng bahagyang malamig pa ring temperatura at mahihinang ulan lalo na sa may eastern and southern portions,” he explained.

It will also bring cloudy skies with rains over the Bicol Region, Cagayan Valley, the rest of MIMAROPA, Apayao, Aurora, and Quezon.
“And over Palawan and Visayas, nagtatagpo ang amihan at easterlies kaya meron pa rin tayong namumuong shear line. Ito yung linya kung saan nagkakaroon tayo ng malalakas na pag ulan,” he added.
The northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The weather agency advised the residents in the affected area to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas and the rest of Luzon will be moderate to rough. The rest of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to PAGASA.
No gale warning was raised over any parts of the country.
