Student Takes Street Photography to Next Level
A male student from Quezon City impressed many netizens for taking street photography to the next level.
Street photography is a style of photography that captures everyday life in public spaces. It focuses on candid moments, often shows the emotions, expressions, and interactions of people in urban settings.
Unlike studio photography, street photography is spontaneous and unposed, making it feel more raw and authentic. This genre can include a variety of subjects, such as pedestrians, street vendors, architecture, and even abstract compositions of light and shadows.

Recently, Gabriel Goco, known as @gab_re3l, a TikTok user, shared his creative approach to street photography, turning a simple school project into a visually striking business grunge-themed cinemagraph.
The post quickly circulated on social media and garnered various reactions from the online community.
Goco shared his unique creation online. According to him, his friends asked for help in taking photos for a school event. Instead of capturing regular pictures, he decided to elevate the project by blending a photo and a video into a single piece.

His goal was to make the final output stand out, engage the audience, and show a unique Filipino touch.
Inspired by popular Filipino photographer Lee Morale, Goco experimented with different techniques to achieve his vision. The final result was a moving image that combined the raw energy of street photography with the dramatic elements of grunge aesthetics.
His work portrays his ability to push creative boundaries. The combination of still photography and motion make the piece feel dynamic.
“This piece is both a photo and a video kasi I want it to be unique and ma-hook ‘yung audience, at nando’n ‘yung sense ng pagiging Pinoy,” he said.
