Famous actress-singer Nadine Lustre has this reaction to this comment from a basher with an ill wish for her.
Online platforms are supposed to be a venue for communication, entertainment, and spreading factual information. However, people found ways to spread negative stuff and spew hateful words to people whose opinions do not align with them. Unfortunately, people online seem to prefer a negative take on absolutely everything.
Recently, in a post, actress Nadine Lustre shared a comment she received from someone online who wished her ill. With one issue she was subtly vocal about, she was met with the fiery hell of negative comments.
In a previous article, Nadine shared a “Collect Them All” placard in a post with former President Rodrigo Duterte’s name with a checked box. It was around the time when Duterte was arrested by the International Criminal Court (ICC). This is associated with the controversial war on drugs under his leadership.
The other names included in the post with a striking message were Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In an IG story shared by Lustre, the comment said, “Sana na ma r4pe ka ng adik.”
Nadine’s response was, “One of the many that did not pass the vibe check.”
Following her reaction to the latest national controversy that already attracted international awareness, the actress received lots of negative and offensive comments.
To recall, Duterte’s arrest was for the innocent lives dragged into his controversial “Oplan Tokhang” anti-drug campaign. This was widely criticized for its violent and extrajudicial nature. Thousands of lives were claimed and the former leader was held accountable and liable for these alleged crimes.
Despite being lowkey on social media, Lustre is known for being outspoken about her political beliefs. She also advocates for justice and human rights, and her platforms are her channels to share her views on political matters. She was also a supporter of former vice president Leni Robredo.
