Alma Concepcion Bitten on the Face by Dog, Shares Lesson with the Public
ALMA CONCEPCION – Actress Alma Concepcion was bitten on the face by her dog and took to social media to share the lessons she learned from the incident with the public.
Actress Alma Concepcion was bitten on the face by her pet dog, Sniper. In an Instagram post, she shared her experience and the lessons she learned from the incident.
In a short video, Alma showed herself getting vaccinated at a health center after being bitten by her dog. The video also revealed a fresh wound on her face with slight bleeding.

According to Alma, she was hugging her dog and resting her head on its shoulder when it suddenly bit her. She also revealed that prior to this incident, Sniper had also bitten her son, Cobie, after he accidentally put pressure on him.
Because of this, Alma realized the need to change the way they interact with Sniper to prevent future bites. “Lesson for us here in the house, that we won’t cuddle him anymore. Probably, we can just pet him & give him some caressing but definitely no more hugging from now on,” she stated.
Alma shared that Sniper has been living with them since he was just four months old and is now four years old. She mentioned that the dog is generally well-behaved and has been used to sleeping in her bed. However, she has now decided to stop this practice to avoid any unexpected incidents in the future.

Since Sniper was fully vaccinated, Alma did not need to be taken to the hospital as an emergency case. According to the doctors and nurses she spoke with, there is no need to panic in such situations as long as one gets vaccinated immediately. Alma also shared that free vaccines for dog bites are available in various locations across the country, including Quezon City.
Despite the incident, Alma and her son Cobie are both in good condition. They continue to take care of Sniper but with a more cautious approach to ensure everyone’s safety.
In her message, Alma reminded the public not to panic in such situations and to ensure they have the correct information regarding rabies vaccination.
