The Bar Exam Results 2025 will be released on January 7, 2026 (Wednesday), according to the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
SC chairperson Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro Javier said that this year is the highest number of admitted candidates in bar exam history. Over 11,000 examinees took the September 2025 BAR examinations.
The agency conducted BAR 2025 through a secure examination delivery program called “Examplify.” The examinees use their devices at their preferred venue, under the supervision of in-person proctors or CCTV cameras inside the examination rooms.
BAR SUMMARY OF RESULTS
The Supreme Court is set to release Bar Exam Results 2025 on Wednesday afternoon. The agency will be conducting a special en banc session to reveal the exam results. It involves opening the sealed envelopes with the names of passers.
The official list of BAR passers will be displayed on a widescreen at the Supreme Court’s front yard. It will be also posted on the SC’s official website.
The Bar examination in the Philippines is held every year under the supervision of the Supreme Court, with the Bar Exam Committee overseeing its conduct. It serves as the required qualifying test for those who wish to practice law and is distinct from other professional licensure exams because it does not fall under the authority of the Professional Regulation Commission.
The Bar exams scheduled for September 2025 mark the 123rd time this national test for future lawyers will be administered. Each cycle represents another opportunity for law graduates to earn the right to enter the legal profession.
For examinees who have not passed the Bar exam after three attempts, there are additional requirements before they can try again. They must return to law school, complete and pass the standard fourth-year review subjects, and enroll in a pre-bar review program offered by a school recognized by the Supreme Court.
