Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards Movie “Hello, Love, Again” Earns Php 1.6 Billion Worldwide

“Hello, Love, Again of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards worldwide earnings revealed.

The highest-grossing Filipino film of all time “Hello, Love, Again” by Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards earned Php 1.6 billion worldwide.

A sequel to Hello, Love, Goodbye released in 2019 is “Hello, Love, Again” which hit the theaters in November 2024. Since its release, the movie became unstoppable in reaching heights and breaking records in the local film industry.

Some of the film’s achievements were:

  • Biggest opening day earnings at Php 85 million on November 13.
  • Biggest single-day gross at Php 131 million on November 16.
  • First Filipino film to break into the US Top 10 box office at Number 8.
  • Biggest opening weekend at Php 492 million.
  • First local film to cross the Php 900 million mark in gross.
  • First local film to cross the Php 1 billion mark in gross.
  • Officially on November 22, it became the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time.
  • It is the highest opening weekend gross for a Filipino film in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Oman, earning $1.4 million in just one week.

ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema and GMA Pictures produced this film which was also aired in various countries. The other stars included in the film are Jennica Garcia, Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Kevin Kreider, Jobert Austria, Mark Labella, Marvin Aritrangco, and Ruby Rodriguez.

Recently, in an update, the first and only Filipino film to cross the Php 1 billion mark earned a whopping Php 1.6 billion worldwide.

HLA, apart from being the first film to earn over a billion, was also the film to surpass the 2023 sensation Rewind starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. This is the story of Joy and Ethan who reunited in Canada years after they parted ways in Hong Kong.
