Jam Ignacio, DJ Jellie Aw Engagement Called Off by Club Disc Jockey
DJ JELLIE AW – The club disc jockey gave an update about her following the incident with her businessman ex-fiancé, Jam Ignacio.
Before the recent incident, businessman Jam Ignacio’s name is already known in the Philippine entertainment industry as he had a relationship with actress Karla Estrada, Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla’s mom. In July 2024, they were rumored to have broken up and it was confirmed a month after when the businessman started flexing his new girlfriend on social media.
Jam Ignacio flaunted Jellie Aw, a club disc jockey. In November of the same year, the businessman proposed to his girlfriend for marriage on the day of her birthday and he got the “yes” he wanted.
However, recently, countless people were surprised when posts and reports that Jam Ignacio physically hurt DJ Jellie Aw crossed the surface. The disc jockey filed a complaint against her then-fiancé before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Jam was no show a few days after the incident started going viral on social media. On the fifth day since the incident, the businessman publicly apologized to his fiancée through an exclusive interview with GMA News.
Jam Ignacio also apologized to the family of DJ Jellie Aw most especially her mother who he called “Ma”. He begged for his then-fiancée that they continue with their wedding plans and their plans for the future.
Following the appeal of Jam Ignacio, Jellie Aw expressed that no wedding will happen between them. According to her, she has already forgiven Jam but she will push through with the case.
DJ Jellie also expressed that if Jam really loves her, he must be accountable for his mistake. According to her, her mother was traumatized by what happened and it is a big part of her decision not to push through with her wedding plans with the businessman.
Recently, DJ Jellie Aw gave an update about her following the incident with Jam Ignacio. Through a post on social media, the club disc jockey expressed that she could not respond one-by-one to people who are checking on her so she decided to answer them all through a video.
DJ Jellie assured the public that there is nothing to worry about and she is getting better. According to her, she still have bruises in her eyes and her teeth is still broken but she is scheduled to see her dentist already. She is also planning to return to work this week as soon as her face is no longer swollen.
Previously, Jellie Aw admitted that she still loves Jam Ignacio and they have lots of plans that are wasted because of the incident.
