The new set of PGT judges was introduced and Kathryn Bernardo is among them.
ABS-CBN superstar Kathryn Bernardo is one of the new judges of the “Pilipinas Got Talent” season 7 set to be aired this 2025.
ABS-CBN’s popular talent reality show Pilipinas Got Talent or PGT is airing this year and previously, a new set of hosts has been introduced. Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford are the old hosts of the program and recently, Robi Domingo and Melai Cantiveros were announced as the new hosts.
Both of them are privileged over the opportunity. Domingo immediately said yes when asked to do it while Cantiveros was in disbelief. But both are happy to be paired with each other. They have this rapport as hosts that they were able to build in working with each other in Pinoy Big Brother.
After the announcement of the hosts, the new judges were announced. The new judges are:
- “The Boss” Freddie “FMG” Garcia
- “New Gen Matinee Idol” Donny Pangilinan
- “Comedy Star For All Seasons” Eugene Domingo
- “Asia’s Superstar” Kathryn Bernardo
The powerhouse panel of judges expressed excitement over the new season that will be premiering this March. Domingo believes that the four of them are an excellent team to spot a new and champion Filipino talent.
“FMG is the authority. I add the fun. Kathryn is the heart. And Donny represents the young generation,” she said. For Bernardo, this role is a new challenge for her. As something as a first for her, she thinks that it would be a good break after doing the highest-grossing film “Hello, Love, Again” and before she proceeds to a new one.
As for the returning judge FMG, he is looking forward to this new season as this might be the time he can finally encounter the talent he is looking for.
Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla, and Freddie “FMG” M. Garcia were the judges but originally, Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and former ABS-CBN general manager Freddie M. Garcia were on these seats. The original judges lasted until the fourth season of the show which was in 2013.
