Teacher Herlyn aka Marilag Asserts No Cheating Happened w/ Co-Teacher Nathaniel

Teacher Herlyn wanted to clear her name from the cheating allegations

Teacher Herlyn Manglicmot, also known as Marilag on social media, asserted that there was no cheating that happened between her and her co-teacher Nathaniel Titular.

Their names became a trending topic on social media after female netizen Abigail Sobreo exposed the private conversations of the co-teachers. She was the ex-girlfriend of Nathaniel. In the screenshots that Abigail shared, it appeared that Nathaniel and Herlyn had romantic connections already even before the breakup happened.

Because of this, Herlyn and Nathaniel received a massive amount of bashing online. Netizens took Abigail’s side and criticized the teachers for their alleged affair.

However, there were also those who defended Teacher Herlyn, like songwriter Lolito Go who recently shared screenshots sent by Herlyn and Nathaniel, and screenshots from Herlyn’s ex-boyfriend O’Neil.

This included a copy of the letter that Herlyn sent to the educational institution that she is working at asking permission to publicly address this issue as it already destroyed her dignity even before she spoke about it.

Lolito Go explained that Herlyn and O’Niel had already broken up even before the scandal happened. However, O’Neil kept on checking on Herlyn. The songwriter said that even O’Neil’s family is willing to defend Herlyn. “They were sending me messages to vouch for Herlyn’s character,” Lolito shared.

In November 2023, Herlyn sent a message to Nathaniel addressing the messages that she received from Abigail through O’Neil’s account. In her message, Herlyn told Nathaniel to clarify the issue to Abigail because there was nothing happening between them, after all.

The next screenshot showed Nathaniel’s message to Herlyn talking about what he really feels for his co-teacher. Based on his message, he was standing by his decision to pursue Herlyn. At that time, Herlyn and O’Neil have broken up already.
