PAGASA Says 3 Weather Systems to Bring Rain Over Several Areas

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that three weather systems will bring rain over several areas.

On Monday (February 10, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Three weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA reported that the shear line is affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas and will cause rain to fall over several areas. The Northeast Monsoon is affecting the rest of Luzon. The easterlies will affect Mindanao.

The shear line cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Quezon, and Aurora.

It will also bring moderate to heavy rains over the provinces of Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, and Leyte.

Amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON.

The northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon.

The easterlies will bring similar weather conditions over the rest of Mindanao.

The weather agency has advised the residents to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, and the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas will be rough to very rough. Slight to moderate sea conditions are expected in the surrounding areas of Luzon and Visayas, according to PAGASA.
