Crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 is PH bet Dia Mate and here’s what the Pinay beauty said as she is now an international beauty queen.
Dia Mate of the Philippines is Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 and the country is celebrating with her for bagging the second crown in this international beauty competition. The first to get the crown was actress-beauty queen Winwyn Marquez at Reina Hispanoamerican 2017.
“I feel like I’m on cloud nine,” Dia said in an interview after she was crowned.
The newly-crowned beauty queen added, “I did not expect to win, but I gave it all to God. I told myself, if I’m meant to win, it’s my destiny—and it was my destiny. It hasn’t really sunk in yet but everything was worth it in the end for me.”
In the pageant, Mate wore a sultry gold gown designed by Rian Fernandez. During the Q&A portion, her question was: “What values do you think are the most important to our society, and why do you think this is important?”
Her winning answer was:
“I think the most important value that we should have is kindness. In my experience here in Bolivia, Latinas have shown me so much kindness and so much love even though racially I am not Latino. And the most beautiful thing I’ve noticed is that even though we don’t speak the same language, we share the same culture, same heart, and same faith in God, and I hope this shows everybody that if we use kindness we can show that we are all the same and can create a better world and a better society for us all.”
Dia also got the Best in National Costume award.

- Tercera Finalista – Miss Perú
- Cuarta Finalista – Miss Brasil
- Quinta Finalista – Miss Polonia
She came from the Remulla political clan from Cavite. She is the granddaughter of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla. Her boyfriend is OPM singer Juan Karlos Labajo. He is her “best friend” and “greatest love”.
To recall, their relationship was confirmed on Valentine’s Day in 2024. In this journey, Labajo was her top supporter.
Outside pageantry, she is also a recording artist. In 2020, she was a contestant in the online talent show called The Pop Stage. She reached the Grand Finals of the competition. In 2021, she started to release her own songs and her most popular song to date is “Ganda Gandahan” which was released in November 2024.
