Ogie Diaz reacted to this video showing the fiery statement from Alfred Vargas
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz called out actor-politician Alfred Vargas because of his supposed “pamumulitika.”
Alfred is just one of the many celebrities who ventured into politics. Ogie is vocal about his support for certain celebrities who decided to run for a government position.
However, Ogie called out Alfred just recently because of a viral video, based on the article in Balits. The video was posted on the Facebook Page Kilusan Kontra Korapsiyon.
In the video, Alfred Vargas was comparing his team to the other team. He filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for reelection as Quezon City’s 5th District Councilor.
“Matikas ‘di ba? Iyan ang gusto natin. Kasi kami, halimbawa, kami ni Cong. PM, ‘pag namimili kami ng amin, pinipili namin ‘yong magaganda at guwapo. Tapos kung titingnan ninyo, ‘yong mga nakaupong leaders ng mga kalaban namin, mukhang adik,” Alfred said.
He also accused the other team of not paying debts and that the “colonel” might arrest a lot of “adik.” Ogie reposted this video on his Facebook Page.
In the caption of Ogie’s post, he said that Alfred might want to explain this as negative comments against him were pouring. “Bakit dumating na raw siya sa ganitong point ng pamumulitika? Nakakalungkot naman ang mga nababasa ko sa comment section,” the talent manager-vlogger said.
As of this writing, Alfred Vargas has not released a statement yet about this issue. Meanwhile, back in 2022, the actor-politician said that he was betrayed by his friends during the elections. Alfred that what hurt the most was he did not expect that those friends would turn their back from him.
He also said that it was difficult to have money as an enemy but with the love of the people who supported him, he was able to win this battle.
