According to Nina, she and Nyoy Volante are not okay, and here’s what the latter said about her.
OPM singer-songwriter Nyoy Volante has this to say about his ex-girlfriend “Soul Siren” Nina who previously made this comment about him.
Years ago, Singer Nina or Marifel Nina Girado in real life, filed a complaint before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office against the parents of her former boyfriend Nyoy Volante for allegedly refusing to pay the Php 1.1 million they owed her. Apart from this, there have been a lot of other issues that circled Nina and Nyoy following their split.
It has been over a decade since the issue about Nyoy who borrowed money, amounting to Php 1.4 million, from Nina when they were still together in 2005. Recently, when asked about working again with her ex-boyfriend, she expressed that they are not okay.
“Hindi kami okay,” she quickly quipped as a response to the question of Ogie Diaz who asked a question about someone unnamed. Diaz went on to ask if she had entirely shut her doors about the possibility following their issues in the past and her answer was, “Actually pinatawad ko pero hindi na para bumalik pa siya sa buhay ko. Wala na talaga kumbaga puwedeng burahin ‘yung past!”
Following the recent statements she made, Nyoy was also asked about her and he maintained that their issues are now all in the past and that there’s nothing to discuss anymore.
He also explained that the reason why Nina was not on the line-up of the upcoming Sessionistas reunion concert was because of other reasons. He said, “Nagkataon lang talaga at the last moment nag-decide ang Sessionistas, ‘Ano, gusto ninyo mag-concert?’ So, hindi namin, unfortunately, nakumpleto yung line-up.”
He added that they are okay, which is contrary to what the Soul Siren said, and that he is willing to work with her again.
Meanwhile, apart from Nyoy, Nina also had a relationship with Jimmy Bondoc. They also had a bad breakup.
