MMFF Best Actress Judy Ann Santos looks back on her 2024 with a grateful for every good thing that happened to her.
The year that is about to end is not easy for all of us but on top of all the heartbreaks are the breakthroughs we sometimes tend to forget. We fell down but we always get up to fight. As they say, “Long story short, we survived”.
Ending the year with a grateful heart is “Queen of Philippine Soap Opera” Judy Ann Santos. The year 2024 has been so kind and fruitful for her and in an Instagram post, she looked back to it with grace and gratitude.
This year, “Judy Ann’s Kitchen” returned to YouTube with brand-new recipes her viewers enjoy watching. For a time, she stopped making cooking videos but 2024 made her came back to doing what she is passionate about.
She also had memorable trips, several chef’s nights, great projects, new clients, realizations, challenges, and other things she is deeply grateful for. And the biggest thing she was surprised to happen was her Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actress win for 2024.
Judy Ann did “Espantaho” and portraying the lead role made her win a Best Actress award from the MMFF 2024 Gabi Ng Parangal. She expressed how elated she was about getting to be a part of the film festival’s history.
She added, “Naluluha pa rin ako pag naiisip ko, kung gaano kakulay itong taong to.. sa bawat isang taong nakasama at nakatrabaho ko.. maraming maraming salamat.. nakaukit kayo sa puso ko.. at lahat ng ito.. hindi posible, kung hindi dahil sa pinaka magandang biyaya sa buhay ko.. ryan, yohan, lucho and luna.. kayo ang buhay ko.”
