Business Owner Surprises Kids Who Saved for Milk Tea
The business owner was praised online after giving gift certificates to the kids who saved their money to buy milk tea from her store.
Recently, Sweets n’ Teas Café, a Facebook page, shared an inspiring story of five kids who were excited to buy milk tea they had saved for all week. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
A group of five kids came into the store to buy milk tea. Their allowance had been pooled together, not just for themselves but also to treat one of their friends who didn’t have money. The kids asked about the menu, and the cafe owner noticed their excitement.
At first, the owner suggested a cheaper option, knowing kids often have limited budgets. However, the children proudly shared that it was Friday, and they had saved their weekly allowance just for this treat.
The owner was moved by their determination and generosity, as they didn’t only think of themselves but made sure to include their friend in the celebration.
The joy on their faces as they left with their milk tea was priceless. They even promised to come back once they saved enough again. Inspired by their effort and kindness, the owner decided to reward their hard work and announced on social media that the kids could claim a P1,000 gift certificate at the cafe.
