Janice de Belen admitted that her children are affected by their father’s controversy
Seasoned actress Janice de Belen was asked about the rumored breakup between her ex-husband John Estrada and his wife Priscilla Meirelles.
Last July, rumors that John and Priscilla’s marriage was on the rocks when the latter claimed that her husband was with another woman in Boracay.
Although there had been some instances when they were spotted together, Priscilla clarified that the assumption that she and John are still together is wrong.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Janice de Belen was asked if her children were affected by the issue involving their father.
“Of course, mga anak sila. They will always be affected. Kasi, hindi naman kabarkada lang, e. Barkada nga, naa-affect ka e,” Janice shared, adding that they talked about this because her children shared what they felt about the issue.
The actress, on the other hand, said that her children are adults now and they understand things better. With this, Janice said that her children are handling it well. “I am not allowed to talk about their feelings. Tatay pa rin nila yun,” she said.
When it comes to the issue between John and Priscilla, Janice said that she does not want to intervene. “Wala na po ako diyan, hindi ko po buhay yan. It’s not my place to even give my two-cents worth because it’s not my life,” the seasoned actress said.
To recall, early this year, Priscilla Meirelles shared in an interview that Janice de Belen reached out to her when she and John Estrada had an issue last year.
The award-winning actress said that he and John are okay as parents to their children and that at least now, they no longer have fights. Back when their kids were small, Janice shared that she and John would have their conversations but now that their children are already adults, there is no need for them to have that kind of conversation anymore.
