Seasoned journalist Bernadette Sembrano explained her viral “Sa’yo ako” moment during a live broadcast of the Kapamilya primetime news program TV Patrol.
Bernadette has been in the news and public affairs department of ABS-CBN for many years already. However, she started her career as a reporter in GMA-7. She also did some documentaries and hosted some shows.
The seasoned journalist is currently one of the main news anchors of TV Patrol. Spending many years in this field, Bernadette is already a veteran and has gone through different situations, some were unexpected.
Just recently, a video featuring Bernadette Sembrano went viral and this showed one of those unexpected moments during a live broadcast.
In the video, news background music was already playing and Bernadette was on the screen while behind her were volunteers packing the relief goods. She was at the Sagip Kapamilya Foundation warehouse for live reporting and with the intention of encouraging people to donate to typhoon victims, based on the article in Balita.
It can be seen that Bernadette was waiting for a signal not knowing that she was already onscreen. She was nodding while looking at the side. Then, she told the person behind the camera, “Sa’yo ako, ha?”
