Here’s an update about Typhoon Pepito from PAGASA.
PEPITO TYPHOON UPDATE – PAGASA released their 11 PM update about the typhoon and these areas are under Signal No. 1 and 2.
Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi) further intensifies based on the latest from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). The State Weather Bureau released its latest bulletin about Pepito and it is moving west northwestward over the Philippine Sea east of Eastern Visayas.
At 10 PM, the center was found at 305 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar with maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 190 km/h.

PAGASA previously warned that Pepito is a very dangerous cyclone. It could reach the super typhoon category prior to making landfall on Saturday night or early Sunday. Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region Central Luzon, and Quezon are likely to be affected by Pepito.
The typhoon is expected to exit the PAR region on Monday but days prior to this, it will continue to rapidly intensify.
