Netizen Expresses Dismay Over Alleged Parking Space Dispute
PARKING SPACE ISSUE – A netizen expresses his frustration after reportedly losing a parking space to another driver.
Recently, the Facebook page “Parkeserye” shared the post of an anonymous member about losing a long-awaited parking space to another driver. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The anonymous poster explained that they had waited nearly 20 minutes for a spot near the entrance of a supermarket, patiently waiting in hazard mode as a parked car was about to leave.
Just as the driver of an Innova prepared to back out, another vehicle quickly pulled up with its hazard lights on and took the spot.
Despite repeated honking, the driver who took the space ignored the protest. When confronted, this driver simply argued there was “no reservation” for parking spaces and suggested that if the original poster had been “first,” they would’ve been positioned behind a black Avanza instead of moving forward as the Innova exited.
The anonymous driver was left frustrated by the response, especially since there was no special consideration mentioned, such as senior or PWD status. The netizen reflected on the commonly understood practice, when a car exits, the driver already waiting in hazard mode should be able to take the spot.

Nag hintay ako ng almost 20 mins para malapit ako sa entrance ng supermarket. Naka hazard naman po ako, nung may aalis ng innova umabante ako ng konti kasi nga lalabas na sya. kakarating lang ni sir na biglang hazard at biglang pumasok. Busina ako ng busina pero walang pake, pagbaba nya wala daw reservation sa parking at kung ako daw nauna dapat nasa likod ako ng black na avanza at hindi ako umabante para maka atras yung innova na umalis. Psensya na at hanap nalang daw ako iba.
If sinabi ni sir na senior cit or PWD sya maiintindihin ko pa. Pero as far as i know either side basta nka hazard ka at may lumabas na kotse sa slot na hinihintay mo sayo ang slot na yun. Mas matanda sya sa akin if mali ako now i know pero if mali sya very wrong na magturo ka ng mali sa mas bata sayo.
