Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Stressed It’s Not her Fault if Marcos does not know how to be President
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos does not know how to be a president and he has allegedly committed impeachable offenses.
There were already several instances that showed a souring relationship between Vice Pres. Duterte and Pres. Marcos. The Vice President previously claimed that it was a mistake when she sought the support of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ or KOJC members for Marcos who was her running-mate then.
Under the Marcos administration, intensified search operations against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy were conducted inside the KOJC compound. The Dutertes are undeniably close to the Pastor.
In another interview, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also claimed that she will “never again” team up with the Marcoses in the future elections. According to her, she and Pres. Marcos did not really start as friends as it was only when they become running-mates that they started talking.
The Vice President said that they only talked about the campaign and work. According to her, her friend is really Senator Imee Marcos.
However, recently, the public was also shocked when Vice Pres. Duterte said in a press conference that she told Sen. Imee Marcos that she will exhume and throw the body of Marcos Sr. in the West Philippine Sea if the attacks against her won’t stop.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos previously expressed his belief that he was probably deceived on Vice Pres. Sara Duterte not considering him as a friend. When he was recently away for the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summit, Duterte was not the caretaker of the Philippines.
At a recent press conference, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also had a strong remark against Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Based on a report on GMA News Balitambayan, the Vice President claimed that the Chief Executive does not know how to be a president and it is not her fault.
“Hindi marunong maging Presidente ang nakaupo, kasalanan ko ba iyon?” she said.
According Duterte, it is also the reason why she left the Marcos administration as she no longer does not like the things she hear and see. Based on the report, she stressed that there is no “Number One” or president for her.
“Kung presidente ninyo siya, okay lang. Ako, hanggang Number Two lang itong bansa na ito. Wala itong Number 1 para sa akin,” Duterte said.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said she does not remember Pres. Bongbong Marcos having a platform or discussing what to do with the problem. Based on the report, she also claimed that the Chief Executive has committed five (5) impeachable offenses.
