ALEX GONZAGA – The famous actress vlogger shares the reason why she is having some difficulties when it comes to having a baby.
Not all women experience a smooth journey in getting pregnant. Some experience extreme difficulty in conceiving a child due to several reasons and one of these women is actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga.
She is married to politician Mikee Morada for roughly four years now and both of them are eager to have a baby.
In 2021, Alex suffered her first miscarriage. She had a blighted ovum, a condition where an embryo did not develop in her sac. They initially waited for a miracle to happen but unfortunately, it did not happen. They moved forward with their hope still intact.
In 2023, she shared the story of her second miscarriage. They tried the IVF method but it was not successful. It was saddening but during this time, she admitted that she was affected by the comments. She felt the weight of the pressure from people asking about her pregnancy.
This year, during an interview, she had her last test and she received a positive result. According to the result, she is now in shape to get pregnant describing it as “60% okay” to have a baby. This means that she can get pregnant anytime.
Based on her statement, one of the reasons why it was hard for her to get pregnant was because of her immune system. There was something wrong with her thyroglobulin.
She said, “One of the reasons kaya hirap akong mabuntis is masyadong mataas ang immune system ko na hindi ko po alam kung bakit. There’s something wrong with my thyroglobulin na sinabi ng doctor ko.”
She did the lymphocyte immunization therapy or LIT before, a fertility treatment, because her immune system was too high. Her body could not recognize pregnancy.
But now, as mentioned, her test result is now okay and they have received a good one that indicated they can get pregnant anytime.
