PAGASA Says Northeasterly Windflow and Localized Thunderstorms to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that northeasterly windflow will bring rains over parts of the country.
On Friday (October 11, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeasterly windflow will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that northeasterly windflow will bring cloudy skies with rain showers over Northern Luzon.
No tropical cyclones or typhoons are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next few days.
“Base naman sa ating latest satellite animation, wala tayong bagyo na inaasahang papasok ng ating Philippine area of responsibility sa mga susunod na araw,” said Estareja.
The northeasterly windflow will bring cloudy skies with rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora.
The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
However, possible formations of shallow circulation or weak low-pressure areas are expected over the eastern part of the country.
“Pero patuloy ang monitoring natin for possible formations of shallow circulation or mahihinang low pressure area dito sa may silangan ng bansa at hindi naman ito inaasahan na magiging bagyo sa ngayon,” he added.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the Luzon, eastern section of Visayas, the rest of Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA. No gale warning was raised over any of the country’s seaboard.
