Lovi Poe was asked about politics
Actress Lovi Poe is happy with her career in the entertainment industry and here is what she said when asked if she has plans to enter politics.
Lovi has established her name in the entertainment industry with her acting caliber and her charm. She is not just known for being the daughter of the late Da King Fernando Poe, Jr.
Direk Connie Macatuno, the director of Lovi’s movie Guilty Pleasure, has nothing but good words for the actress. The filmmaker is amazed at how far the actress has come when it comes to her career and personal life.

Lovi Poe has already some projects in Hollywood but in a previous interview, she stressed that she does not want to be called a Hollywood actress.
Direk Connie said that if there is something that changed in Lovi is that she keeps on getting better. “She’s really like her father [the late Fernando Poe, Jr.] and she really deserves her spot in this industry,” the director said.
Aside from being an actor, Lovi’s dad was also a producer. The actress has started this aspect in the entertainment industry as well. She established her production company C’est Lovi Productions.
“My dad, nagsusulat din siya ng films, and he produced and he directed… now I understand why,” the actress said, adding that it seemed that her heart could not just stop doing these things as well.

When it comes to directing, Lovi said that she is not sure about this. For her, this is a different level already as she would be the “captain of the ship.”
The actress was also asked if she would eventually venture into politics because, at some point, her father ran for president. Her sister Senator Grace Poe has been a public servant for many years. “It’s not my turf talaga. I’m pretty happy where I am now and this industry is for me,” Lovi Poe said.
