Claudine Barretto and Marjorie Barretto Remember Their Father

Here are the messages of Claudine Barretto and Marjorie Barretto for their late father.

Through social media posts, Claudine Barretto and Marjorie Barretto remember their father Miguel Barretto.

There are no words that could ever describe the pain of losing a parent and words that would ever comfort this kind of peace. This loss may manifest as sadness, anger, confusion, or even guilt but one thing is for sure, a parent may not be there physically but in the hearts of the people, the parent stays always and forever.

As for the Barretto sisters, losing their dad four years ago was a wound that scarred them forever. Just like with other people, the pain is something we can’t fully understand but fully feel – stabbing and breaking us.

Miguel Barretto died in 2019 at the age of 82 after being hospitalized. He was the father of Claudine, Gretchen, and Marjorie and recently, as the calendar fell on September 29, they found profound sadness as they remember this special day that used to be blissful to their family.

This year is their father’s fourth birthday in heaven and in an Instagram post of Claudine, she expressed how she terribly misses her daddy. She loves him so much that even in her next lifetime, she would choose him to be her father again.

She kept him updated about her children who are currently in good condition. Only if she could turn back the time, she would still choose to sleep between him and her mother for 15 years and never get embarrassed about it. She promised to make him proud and to wait for her until it will be her time.

As for Marjorie Barretto, she also misses her father terribly. She described September 29 as never an easy day for them when he died.

“Happy Birthday in heaven. What an honor it was to be your daughter. And what a great blessing you were to my children. Thank you for showing them how it is to be loved and supported. I terribly miss you,” she wrote.
