Detained Chinese ‘spy’ has this message for Guo Hua Ping, also known as Alice Guo.
GUO HUA PING – Tycoon She Zhijiang is a self-confessed China asset and here’s what he said to the former mayor who is an alleged spy.
A tycoon currently detained in Thailand named She Zhijiang admitted in an Al Jazeera interview that he was a Chinese spy and claimed that Alice Guo or Guo Hua Ping is a fellow asset of China’s Ministry of State Security.
In a previous article, Alice Guo saw the video of She Zhijiang and she immediately got agitated. During the House quad committee hearing on Friday night, she appeared riled up and vehemently denied the allegation. She repeatedly claimed that she was not a spy and stressed that she was a Filipino and that she loved the Philippines.
Al Jazeera uploaded a documentary titled “She Zhijiang: Discarded Chinese spy or criminal mastermind?”
In this documentary, She claimed that he was a China spy and was recruited in 2016 by a man he met in the Philippines. Through a custodian who he met inside the cell, She gave Al Jazeera access to some files that supposedly proved his claims being an asset, and among the documents recovered was Guo Hua Ping, the supposed Chinese name of Alice Guo.
Al Jazeera also spoke to some local residents in Fujian and they recognized Guo as the daughter of Lin Wen Yi. The residents confirmed that she was born in the area and left towards the end of 2002. According to the documents obtained from the Board of Investments and the Bureau of Immigration, Guo entered Philippines on January 12, 2003.
In the video, She left this message for Guo:
“China cannot be trusted. The two of us dedicated our lives to China’s Ministry of State Security. Look at what happened to me. If you don’t want to be eliminated, you should tell the world the truth.”
