Here’s how much a fashion week could cost. Find out below!

FASHION WEEK COST – Wondering how much it costs? thebaghag, Ingrid Chua shared the estimates in her post.

Attending a fashion week can be a fantastic experience and this comes with several reasons. This is for trendspotting, networking, finding inspiration, having cultural experience, getting exclusive access, and a learning opportunity.

In the Philippines, we have actress Heart Evangelista who attended several already as she’s been doing this for many years now. Heart is currently in Milan and she’s serving us with looks, grace, and class.

Not long ago, beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach has also established a strong foundation in the field of fashion, and her model-like body, tall height, and iconic walk is most fitting in fashion events.

How much it costs to attend one?

Since we’re talking about fashion week, this most probably includes luxury brands and recently, thebaghag, Ingrid Chua, gave her followers a clear path of estimation as to much it can cost for this kind of event.

Here’s a breakdown:

  • Business class flight to Paris – $3,000
  • Economy flight for the team consists of 1 HMU, 1 photographer/PA, 1 stylist – $4,500
  • Private driver for a day (10 hours) – $880 x 7 days = $6,160
  • Team meals – $60/day x 3 pax for 7 days = $1,260
  • Hotel/airbnb x 7 days for 4 in city center = 2 rooms at $450 each in minimum price per day x 7 = $6,300
  • Miscellaneous expenses – $2,000 (more or less)

This estimation roughly reached $25,000 or Php 1,391,325.00 based on the current conversion. Not included here are the salaries of the team, nice meals with your team, and the shopping.

In her post, she added that if you’re not an actor, singer, artist, nepo baby, K-pop, J-pop, C-pop, or from Hollywood, big brands won’t pay you for wearing their clothes. Instead, they will loan you clothes to wear and you will sent gifts liked bag or shoes as a “thank you” for attending their show.

It added, “Unless you have an actual partnership with the brand, you won’t be paid to attend the shows. (THIS needs disclosure now).”

In some cases, brands that are not big yet can give an honorarium of between $1,000 to $3,000 to attend their shows or be present at their showroom. If lucky enough, one can ink a deal and be paid $3,000 to $5,000.

Definitely, fashion events like this are not for the faint-hearted and with faint pockets. It’s costly.
