ABS-CBN actor Joshua Garcia has this to say about his past self when he was still the boyfriend of Julia Barretto.
It’s been years already since celebrities Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto broke up after two years of being a couple in real life. They were young back then and as we all know, in real life, there are really just some things in life that don’t last.
Garcia is now 26 and Barretto is now 27 and looking back to the relationship they had, they did something what they thought was part of being young and in love.
According to the actor, he is “seloso” way back then and still now but the only difference is that he knows when to feel this and he depends on the situation. He was too focused on her that they could have their world – just them and no one else which was agreed by the actress.
But now, he doesn’t easily get jealous. He has already learned the lesson. This is the same case with Barretto who said, “It’s really part of growing up and learning how to be a better partner. Pero now, feeling ko, di siya nakaka-pretty, e.”
According to her, it appears cute to younger age but not anymore on their age. What she values now is the trust given to the person. She acknowledges the reality that jealousy is a normal part of being human but the deal is how to react to this.
And what they do now with their respective current relationships are the things they learned from the relationship they had before.
