Singers KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde married twice and for their second wedding, this is the real reason behind it.
A second wedding is a nice idea. It is an opportunity to do things your way or to make a union be celebrated differently. Just like with couple, KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde, they tied the knot for the second time around last year on their third anniversary.
As expected, it was a wedding held differently.
Last 2020, KZ and TJ tied the knot. This is their first wedding held at The Farm at San Benito, Batangas. It was dreamy and ethereal, however, some of the most important people in their lives were not able to attend the event due to the pandemic. Their parents were there virtually, but not physically.
In 2023, they tied the knot again but this time around, it was a ceremony they dedicated to their parents and to their other families and friends who did not make it during their nuptials in 2020. On the same day, they also celebrated their third wedding anniversary.
This is the same reason TJ shared in his new Instagram post. After their Kuan-On-One interview, many people wondered why they tied the knot again three years into the marriage and in his post, he explained it.
It was also a promise they made with each other to allow their parents to walk them down the aisle since both of them were firstborns. It was something they were not able to do during their first wedding.
“Almost everything in that wedding revolved around them — the theme, the food, the music, kung anong tingin namin magugustuhan nila, yun pinili namin,” he added.
As for their vow, they did not make one for each other at their second wedding. What they did was make a vow to each other’s parents. He promised her parents that he will take of her, the same vow she made to his parents.
