Male Teacher Faces Serious Accusations for Biting Students in Cebu City
A male teacher in Cebu City is facing serious accusations after reportedly biting two male students at Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High School.
The incident involved a 17-year-old and a 14-year-old student, both claiming that the teacher, who teaches MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health), acted inappropriately towards them.
The father of one of the students, who is a police officer, recounted that the teacher allegedly asked his son to remove his shirt so that he could see the student’s abs. When the student hesitated, the teacher threatened him with unspecified consequences.

Even after the student complied and removed his shirt, the teacher allegedly bit him on the back, leaving a noticeable mark. The concerned father took his son to a hospital for a medical examination and reported the incident to Police Station 7 to file a formal complaint.
In another case, the mother of the second student became emotional upon discovering that her son had also been bitten, this time on the arm. Both sets of parents went to their local barangay chairman, Dave Tumulak, to file complaints against the teacher.
The chairman stated that there was sufficient evidence to support the complaints, including medical certificates, photos, videos, and witness testimonies.
The school’s head teachers, Noel Auxtero and Noel Nacorda, have already submitted a report on the incident to the Cebu City Department of Education (DepEd) Division. The affected students, along with their classmates who witnessed the incident, will undergo counseling and debriefing sessions as part of psychological interventions.
The DepEd 7 Central Visayas Regional Director Dr. Salustiano Jimenez has received the report and confirmed that they will take appropriate legal action against the teacher. The teacher, however, has not yet provided a statement regarding the accusations.
“I received the reports from the division this morning and I already forwarded to the legal [office] for action. We will not tolerate such acts of a teacher. We will deal with it accordingly,” Dr. Salustiano Jimenez said.
