Here’s the gross income of Un/Happy For You as of September 2.
Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia’s Un/Happy For You film has earned big several weeks after it was shown in cinemas.
Petersen Vargas’ romantic drama Un/Happy For You explored the story of two exes whose love story has shown the hard truths about love. The story features Joshua Garcia as Juancho who could not move on from a cruel breakup with Zy.
His ex-girlfriend Zy was a role played by Julia Barretto. Juancho initially wanted to exact revenge but his plan backfired when his feelings for Zy resurfaced. But what made the film more intensifying is in knowing that these two are former lovers and their strong on-screen chemistry is something that attracted many people.
The film started strong. On its opening day, it earned Php 20 million, the biggest opening day earning for a local film for this year. As of September 2, it earned Php 390 million worldwide which proved the undeniable international appeal of the film.

This was a line from the film that broke many hearts and many could relate to as it is human nature that we are wired to give in, to sacrifice, and to break if it’s going to be worth the pain.
